The retrofiting kit has its own Intellectual property rigths and it is made of die casted aluminum, it has a special dissipation system that keeps the lamp working below 60º C all the time. Easy to Install
Just remove from the fixture the bulb, the ballast, the starter and the lampshade to install the retrofit lamp.

By removing the inside parts of the lamp and installing the retrofit instead of the lampshade you start to save as much as 75% directly,if you consider change a 400 watts HPS lamp for a 100 watts SMD LED lamp.
If you consider to change a 250 watts HPS lamp for a 100 watts SMD LED lamp you will directly save 60% energy.
If you consider to change a 250 watts HPS for a 60 watts SMD LED lamp you will directly save 76%.
If you consider to change a 150 watts HPS for a 60 watts SMD LED lamp you will directly save 60%.
If you consider to change a 100 watts HPS for a 60 watts SMD LED lamp you will directly save 40%.
When you think about savings think about this, HPS lamps needs a ballast, capacitor and a starter to burn in, that means needs more energy plus the bulb, so if the bulb it is 400 watts the lamp needs extra energy to burn in, 113 to 125 watts extra power, so the real power consumption of the lamp will be 513 or 525 watts depends of the kind of ballast is using, so if you change it for a 100 watts SMD LED lamp, your real savings will be more than 80%.
